To my native...

This was a journey which i began with just family compulsion as its main cause and missing my last day of college as the grievance. I hate travelling by daylight as it results with nothing but boredom and significant tiredness. I was waiting for my flight, grieving on - the day's joy which i felt missing and the scarcity of book stalls to while away the time. Meanwhile, my appa (father) started giving his usual speech on "How things ought to be in this world - selfless, helping, usefull". After observing that i was least concentrating on him, he changed the subject to "How stupid & impractical the signboards are placed in the checking in hall", under the presumption that i might be interested in analyzing them, which i was not. Finally after a couple of delay of flight due to technical reasons, we boarded up and made the journey.

Trivandrum was at its usual peace & gave us a warm welcome which was too warm actually. After a 2 hr journey by a hired car, we reached to my amma's (mother's) native - Manavilai at Nagercoil. Grandma welcomed us to her house with all smiles & wishes.

The old place has its charm. The dull light inside and the birds constant chirps always made me feel carefree and contented.

The old single dusty chair at the attic

Well belonging to my grandma's house.

The next day, we went to the temple quite famous at nagercoil - "saamithopu". I had a few clicks there. The best one of all is this..
